Permit me to introduce myself. I am a third generation, lifelong, fiscally conservative, native Missourian who believes we should limit the size and scope of government. I hold a Bachelor of Science of Business Administration degree from Washington University in St. Louis. I am a US Army veteran. I am a Missouri Certified Public Accountant with over 50 years’ experience, and currently operate a CPA practice in St. Charles, Missouri. I am the only CPA running for the Missouri State Treasurer’s position. The others are chronic politicians. Based on both my education and professional experience noted above, and, as a candidate of the Libertarian Party, I am uniquely qualified to serve as Missouri State Treasurer to independently manage and review the office of the Missouri State Treasurer without influence from any vested interest group. I WILL NOT accept any corporate or lobbyist contributions for my campaign.

If elected, UNLIKE OTHER CANDIDATES, I pledge to serve a single term as Treasurer, and to return to private life thereafter as I am a strong believer in term limits on ALL officeholders.

If elected, UNLIKE OTHER CANDIDATES, I pledge NOT to use the Office of Missouri State Treasurer as a steppingstone to any other elective or appointive offices.

If elected, I will initiate a non-partisan review of the policies and procedures of the office of Missouri State Treasurer, including maximization of interest earned on idle state funds.

If elected, I will also make a current reassessment of the recruiting efforts needed to attract qualified candidates to the staff of the office of Missouri State Treasurer.

If elected, I will make sure that my lines of communication are open with all citizens of Missouri for any information reporting potential waste, inefficiency, or embezzlement of the State of Missouri assets from the office of the Missouri State Treasurer.

Thinking voters will review each candidate’s qualifications and philosophy rather than simply rely only on party labels, which can hide a host of problems. I encourage you specifically compare my education, experience, and philosophy against the other candidates’ and I believe you will see that I am the most qualified candidate for this position.
